Baroque Soprano 415 Hz

This instrument is based on the Richard Haka recorder in the Frans Brüggen collection, which is a rather extreme type of soprano recorder. Its very narrow bore gives it a remarkable gentle tone, rich in harmonics.  The difference from instruments of more common type of bore is most obvious in the high-end register where the tone stays soft and round.

It is tuned to A=415 Hz.

The instrument can be delivered with double or single holes, and built in either boxwood or grenadilla.
